Shantanu Ghosh,holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics from St. Stephens followed by a Post-Graduation in Economics. He also has a Masterclass certification on Governance from the Indian Institute of Directors.

Shantanu is a recognized Banker with 3 decades of experience with 8 years of Board Member positions. He has been associated with ING, ANZ, Standard Chartered Bank, Bank Nizwa, Bank Sohar and Grindlays Bank in the areas of Retail and Commercial Banking, Operations with Information Technology, Risk Management and Branding. He has been associated with the merger of 10 financial institutions, and has led the startup of 6 financial Institutions. His interest includes Corporate Governance, Financial and Credit Management Projects, Banking Processes Overview, Start Up/ Scale Up Mentoring and Training, Business Continuity Management Advisory and Research.

Shantanu believes in a statement made by Sir Albert Einstein – “Its not that I’m so smart, it’s just that I stay with problems longer.” This is his essence of attitude and perseverance.
